Rewind

Been busy creating and having a blast with my scrapbooking. I love it when it's not a challenge. Here I have used glimmer mist on the background and I have used the new Kaiser range called Rewind.

I love how everything co-ordinates, from the papers to the stamps to the embellishments.

I even used the tag from the packaging on this layout.

And the name is so appropriate for my page. I have written to Samuel that I am not ready for him to grow up yet :)

Classes at Tuggerah

Well, my holiday is nearly over and it's almost time to get back to what I love. (Not that I haven't loved laying by the pool in the sun)

My next classes at Pages 2 Scrap are the Christmas Advent Calendar Class which has been really popular. We have added an extra class due to the first two classes being booked out. So if you are free on Saturday 14th November at 2pm and want to make the advent calendar below, then phone the shop to book in now (there are only a few spots left) 1300 664 228. I would love to have you there.

This is a lovely keepsake to use every year, or it would make a great present for someone special.

Next class is the Glimmer Mist class on Monday. I am so excited to be teaching this class. Glimmer Mist is so much fun to play with and we will be creating a page similar to this:

I can't wait to get back into creating some new things to share with you. Unfortunately I haven't found any stores to stock up on supplies here in Cairns, but you know what? I know that Tracey at Pages 2 Scrap has been buying up big and I can't wait to get back there and get my hands on some of it (and you all should know how much I like their membership deal - 20% off all purchases!!! Yep, how good is that???? Ask them about it). And some news to share that I am really excited about too. From next week I will be working in the store every Monday between 9.30am and 2.30pm. Eeeeeeek! What a job!!!! Can't wait to start, come in and see me if you can.

Glimmer Mist and Vintage

......go hand in hand. And I love it!!

Here is what I created last night while playing.

The cardstock was pale pink, now it is gorgeous. I used the Tim Holtz mask to create the clock image.

And glimmer mist can be used on anything. Here I have used it on Kaiser paper flowers.

And I love this photo. My Mum loves my boys so much and I think this photo is testiment to that. She is gorgeous.

School Memories

Been super busy creating samples for up at the store and wanted to share the next few classes with you. Are you like me and have a bunch of school photos not scrapped? Or do you get just plain sick of scrapping in the same blah school colours? These school embellishments are fantastic for scrapping outside-the-box. They are 'vintagy' (I know - not really a word) and gorgeous. This class is on this Friday at 10am and we still have spaces left if you want to come along. Just phone the store on 1300 664 228.

I have also finished creating the cards for Mondays card making class. Two boy cards and two girlie cards. Here are the boy cards:

These are both using new Kaiser products. Love, love, love the boy range (particularly the stamps, they are sooo grungy). We have spaces left in this class too, details can be found here.
