Boy Cards

Normally when I am creating at home I get very distracted by my craft area and the choices I can make.  While we were away recently I was very limited on what I could take with me.  I found that it was a fantastic way to just create and not get distracted!  I had to work with what I had.  Therefore that weekend I completed 18 cards in one afternoon session.  It was a great feeling.

Having a bunch of boys in my house makes boy cards a necessity.  The Kaiser papers from a little while ago are perfect for this task.

I love this Sizzix die especially for boys - cause boys DO rock.

And on the next ones I have used a Papertrey Ink stamp - Dude, you rock!
Thanks for stopping by and I hope I have inspired you to make some boy cards.
Cheers,

A Break from the Cards

Ok, so I have shared a whole bunch of cards with you lately and yes.......I still have more from that session to share yet.  But today I will give you a break from cards and show you a page I created the other day.  Now while the photos were not brilliant, this page is perfect for recording those moments you want to remember.  There are never any photos of me when we go on weekends away or holidays.  I am always BEHIND the camera, and believe me that is where I like to be.  However, I don't want to have albums with no record of me in them.  My children have a mother (yep, little 'ole me) and the most important thing for their memory records is to include me.  So now that they are getting older I let them take a camera with us or even let them take control of my iPhone while we are sight seeing.  Therefore, I get to see me in the memories through THEIR eyes.

I love these Tattered Angels products that take Glimmermisting so well.

Happy Sunday!

I hope you all had a great weekend.  I had parties and soccer presentations to go to and in between all that I actually cleaned up my craft area so that I could see my table top!!  I got a work sample done and I now have a semi-organised area to start with this week.  I will share the work sample with you after I take some photos tomorrow, but for today I will share some more cards from the other weekend (I can't believe I got so many done in that session!!!).

I love this Tim Holtz Tattered Florals die.  It makes a stunning flower to embellish your cards.

And a simple boy card for my stash.  Having three boys I always need these on hand.

This card was for pure fun.  I love Collections Elements papers and the Prima butterflies are just gorgeous.

Thanks for stopping by and have a great Monday.

Lovin' the Unity

Here are some more cards I made with my new Unity stamps.  I just LOVE these stamps.

How gorgeous is this bird?

And I love this swirl.  The butterfly is by Prima.

And another bird to love and stamp.  Sigh!!  Lovin' the Unity.  And all the sentiments are from Papertrey Ink.

New Stamps

I am not much into sports................so last weekend while the football grandfinal was on I spent my time making a whole bunch of cards. It was so much fun just making them for no reason other than to be creative. My Mum has a stash of cards at her place that she sells to her students, and it is empty at the moment. So I got busy playing with my new Unity Stamps that came in last week.

They are GORGEOUS. I just love the two sets I have so far, which is The Artist in You and Where You Are (both designed by Donna Downey). SO much fun to play with.
Have a great weekend and I will be back to share more of the cards I made over the next few days.

Cheers

Christmas Cards

Yep, its that time of year. Time to get busy on your Christmas cards so that you can send some homemade goodness. Want me to help you get started? Then come along to my Christmas Card class on Tuesday 26th October at 10.30am.

Hope to see you there.

Echo Park Fun

I love the paper ranges from Echo Park. They are fun, bright and fresh. I usually don't play with papers this bright but they drew me in, lol.

I love this little banner.

And the buttons from Papertrey Ink.

These photos are from when we first moved into our house over twelve months ago. I can't believe how fast that has gone.

Here I have used my Slice to create the larger letters and put glossy accents over the top. I am determined to use my Slice more on my scrapping.
